The story behind it
For the woman who never wears necklaces.
She has tried. Necklaces tangle, they catch on her scarf, they end up in a dish by the sink. Her wrist, though, is always on show: on the steering wheel, on the keyboard, around a coffee cup.
A fine silver chain with one small open star fits that life. It stays on through the day and asks nothing of her. When she reaches across the table at Friday dinner to pass the challah, the little star is right there.
A little star to keep with you, on busy days and quiet ones. You are always in my heart.

About this piece
This Star of David bracelet is a fine chain in 925 sterling silver with one small open star, set with tiny cubic zirconia. It is a quiet piece, the kind you forget you are wearing until it catches the light at dinner.
What it means
In Hebrew the star is the Magen David (מָגֵן דָּוִד), the shield of David, a sign of the Jewish people for centuries and on the flag of Israel since 1948. Its verse uses the same word for shield: “Adonai uzi u'magini” (ה׳ עֻזִּי וּמָגִנִּי), the LORD is my strength and my shield.
Size and materials
- Metal: 925 sterling silver, stamped 925
- Length: 5.9 in, with 3 extender rings up to 7.1 in (15 to 18 cm)
- Charm: 9.5 mm open star, set with small cubic zirconia
The star is about the size of a fingernail. The extender rings let you wear it close on a slim wrist or a little looser on a larger one.
Who it is for
A Bat Mitzvah girl, a bridesmaid, a daughter who wears her bracelets stacked, or a mother who wants a star but rarely wears necklaces. It pairs with any of our star necklaces, and the second piece is 10% off.
The verse that goes with it: “The LORD is my strength and my shield.” (Psalm 28:7)
Care: Take it off to wash your hands, swim or shower. Wipe with a polishing cloth if it darkens, and store it dry.
